I am Connor Geraghty, a skilled multi-disciplinary creative professional. My areas of expertise are music, film and television media and photography. I've worked with many other creative professionals in bands, photography and film courses who have helped further develop my creative individuality and passions. My infatuation for all things creative started early in my life, practising singing and dancing in my mirror, painting and drawing all the time. I was always doing something involving getting my hands dirty or challenging myself.

 

At thirteen, I started to get into my musical passion. First, I started performing at my school's music showcases and talent shows. Now I perform at venues such as The Zoo, Night Quarter on the Sunshine Coast and local pubs. Performing covers and original materials for large crowds has given me an imaginative view of life and confidence.​​​​​​​

In my final two years of schooling, I developed an ambition for film and television studies and photography that I have continued to expand throughout my bachelor of Creative Industries for the last two years. I worked extremely hard on the films and assignments, achieving awards and certificates from my school and teachers. The knowledge and experiences from these creative endeavours have allowed me to be confident and put myself out into the creative industry field. ​

My determination and passion for all things creative led me to a conclusion. I want to tell people's stories, whether lyrically or visually. This industry is highly strenuous, and achieving success can be difficult. But I've overcome hardships in this industry which have allowed me to be robust, resilient and hardworking. As an individual who desires to inspire others who wish to follow their dreams, I achieved a diploma in Music Performance and am working towards my bachelor of Creative Industries. These diplomas will help me further achieve the credibility I need to accomplish my goals.
